Clarice had been in her room, thinking about everything that had happened in Delilah's room. She was still angry at the way Delilah tried to stop her wedding with Ravian. And not only that, she eavesdropped on their conversation and had the audacity to tell their mother about it.
She knew Delilah was soft-hearted, but this, doing that, made Clarice wonder if her sister was really jealous of her. She couldn't believe it. It was hard because no matter how much her parents ignored Delilah, she had always loved her, given her all the love, and told her all the stories of her school and college life.
