“Look at me, Lily.”
Her breath hitched hearing him call her by that name. She couldn't look at the person standing in front of her. The person who had just married her in front of everyone with a gun pointed at her parents.
“I said look at me, my dear Lily.”
He whispered gently, and she calmed her breathing hearing his gentle voice because she was still scared of the fact that now she was alone in the room with this man who was supposed to be her sister's husband.
“Do you know why I chose you?”
She shook her head.
“Because no woman has ever made me desire her until you came into my life!”
Her eyes fluttered shut hearing him.
“Your father wanted me to marry your sister, but no one forced me to do something I don't want.”
His words made her shrink against the wall behind her because she was scared of him, the way he was speaking.
“I didn't want your sister,” he uttered and raised her head, making her look into his eyes slowly. She saw a smirk appearing on his face.
“I want you, Lily.”
And her heart stopped beating when she felt him press his cold lips against hers.
